We believe therapy should not end
when the session ends

Millions of people spend one hour in therapy and the rest of their week living their lives. SeCo explores whether signals collected by everyday wearable devices can help connect what happens in the body during the week with what happens in therapy.

What they can track
  • Sleep quality & duration
  • Heart rate & HRV
  • Stress & arousal indicators
  • Movement & activity
  • Skin temperature
What they can't answer
  • How does my sleep influence my relationships and emotional reactivity?
  • What is the reason I spend so much time in stress mode — when my heart is pounding all day?
  • What kinds of exercises or practices influence my mental health better than others?

We are conducting scientific research and building an application and AI model to explore whether wearable signals can become a proxy for changes in nervous-system patterns between therapy sessions

whether therapists can use data collected throughout the week to gain a broader understanding of patterns related to their clients' nervous-system state throughout the psychotherapeutic process

and how nervous system health is connected to different mental disorders

It is difficult to improve
what we struggle to measure

Human wellbeing — how people actually feel, how their nervous systems function, whether they are healing or struggling — is already studied and measured in research settings.

But many of these measurements remain difficult to observe continuously, outside laboratories, clinics and one-time assessments.

People with mental health difficulties, PTSD, autism, ADHD, chronic stress, anxiety disorders, or nervous-system dysregulation often experience barriers to accessing support and participating fully in social and public life.

SeCo aims to make mental-health support more accessible by helping people recognize patterns of stress, regulation, and recovery, while providing therapists with richer context between sessions.

Today we measure well

  • Inflation (CPI)
  • Employment Rate
  • Productivity Index
  • Trade Balance
We are still learning to observe continuously

Many things about
human wellbeing
are already visible

We know —

food instability creates stress and increases crime

We know —

safety creates space for healing and growth

We know —

support changes how the nervous system feels

We are building a scientific tool around wearable smart devices to help make patterns of human wellbeing more observable at scale

If we could build better tools
for understanding these patterns
in everyday life

we could move closer
to designing systems
around people

not only around
numbers

SeCo is a nonprofit
That's not a footnote — it's the foundation

The people carrying the heaviest burden of the mental health crisis are often the least likely to afford such devices and tools.

Accessibility, quality of care and commercial realities often pull in different directions.

That is one of the reasons we are building our own wearable device, so we are not dependent on the pricing or technical limitations of commercial vendors.

This does not mean we will not earn money or sell our products. It means we want these tools to be significantly more accessible and affordable, and that the money we earn should help sustain the company and support further research and development, not personal profit or investor dividends.
